First off I just want to say, who the heck decided to toss a fit test in with the first day of Insanity Max Interval training? This truly is INSANE! The only thing I can come up with is that they do this to make you more positive about the Insanity workouts that you will be doing in the following two weeks. When you are working hard on an Insanity workout, you will have thoughts running through your head like, “At least I didn’t have to do a Fit Test today before doing this insane workout!” I could see this as being a great motivator to get you through your Insanity workouts.
My 3rd Insanity Fit Test Results:
I decided to do the Fit Test before doing Insanity Max Interval Circuit. I think that this is important as it will you to get the most accurate statistics of your improvements, as you should have been well rested when completing your Insanity Fit Tests the first 2 times.
I cannot say that I was pleased with the results of my Fit Test today. I actually had numbers that were less than my original Fit Test! I also saw some great improvement in some of the Insanity Fit Test exercises. And this makes me very happy. I cannot be too sure why I seemed to lack improvement in some of the workouts, but I feel like this may be due to a combination of my improved form of the workout and the increased energy used to perform better in the other exercise. I’ll quit making excuses now and show you the results.

Insanity Max Interval Circuit
I am not really sure what my initial opinion of this Insanity workout is. After following up a Fit Test, I am not sure that I can build a genuine opinion yet. This felt like starting Insanity all over again. I felt like I did on my first day of Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit. I am now being reminded why this workout is called Insanity.
I love the new warm-up. It is challenging me again. It really gets my heart racing in the first set. The following two sets of the warm-up seem more like a workout than a warm-up. I remember feeling this way about the warm-ups in the first month of videos, and I got to a point where I agreed that it was a warm-up. I look forward to feeling that way about these.
The rest of the workout introduces new exercises that my body is not yet in condition for. I felt like I was doing awful during most of it. And I really was. I was resting a lot, and extremely exhausted for the last half of the workout. I was even getting dizzy at one point. This may have been because Shaun T has you doing 360 degree turns at one point of the workout. I get dizzy very easily. I didn’t get sick through and I made it through the workout alive. Overall I think that my first experience with Insanity Max Interval Circuit was… meh… Okay.
I am still looking forward to tomorrow. I will be completing Insanity Day 37, Max Interval Plyo. Be sure to stop by tomorrow to see how it went.
