Day 22 Focus T25 Review
Focus T25 Review – Cardio
Focus T25 Cardio
I am finally back home, and very happy about it. I am still not feeling very well today. In fact, I felt worse than I have all week when I woke up this morning. I work for a healthcare technology company and we have onsite clinics at each of the campuses. I called in to make an appointment and they cannot get me in until tomorrow morning. The Doctor that I spoke to suggested a few over the counter medications and they seem to have done wonders. Compared to how I felt this morning, I am feeling fantastic. I am feeling well enough that I was able to bring a ‘Nailed It’ today on Focus T25 Cardio.
I wasn’t really feeling very enthusiastic about doing Focus T25 Cardio tonight. I took my pre-workout formula and then sat around playing some NCAA football on the PS3 for about 30-40 minutes. Once I felt the pre-workout kicking in, I headed back to my workout room and hit play on Focus T25 Cardio. Immediately I started to feel good. I was able to keep up with the entire first half, all the way through the first burnout. Then I had to pause it, for a second so that I could blow my nose and clean the mucus out of my throat. I went right back to it, and I was able to keep up with most of the rest of the workout. When you start to do the full Switch Kicks, I started to feel the exhaustion and my pace started to suffer. However, I was able to hop back in at a normal pace after following the modifier for a few exercises.
Focus T25 Cardio is no easy task, and it is even more difficult when you are sick and drugged up. I was able to do it without any issues, but please be mindful of your bodies needs when you are sick. Such an extreme workout may be too much for you when you are sick. It is okay to take a few days off of your routine to let your body heal. However, if you are like me, and cannot seem to skip a workout without being in your death bed, push play and be safe!
Thank you for reading my Day 22 Focus T25 workout review. Tomorrow will be Day 23, Focus T25 Total Body Circuit. Be sure to check back in to see how it went. Get it done!
Day 19 Focus T25 Workout Review
Focus T25 Review – Total Body Circuit
Focus T25 Total Body Circuit
I woke up filling a little better today. I ended up leaving work early (10:00 PM) last night because I simply wasn’t feeling well enough to get the job done. I went back to my hotel and went right to sleep. I slept for 17 hours! No kidding. It appears that my body was in need of some rest. I woke up feeling almost refreshed. My throat is still sore, but everything else has gone away.
Even though I had gotten plenty of rest, I just wasn’t up for Focus T25 Total Body Circuit today. I had a lot of difficulty spending much time in the plank position and I had to focus on the modified version for many of the exercises. I am not unhappy with my efforts today, considering how bad I was willing before getting all of that sleep. However, Focus T25 Ab Intervals went much better.
Focus T25 Review – Ab Intervals
Focus T25 Ab Intervals
If you have read any of my other reviews of Focus T25 Ab Intervals, you may know that I love this workout. Ab Intervals is my favorite Focus T25 Alpha phase workout. It was also not bad as a second workout to complete immediately after doing Total Body Circuit. I am glad that I did not do Ab Intervals First, as I think that it would have drained my energy enough that I would have done even worse at Total Body Circuit. By the time I started Focus T25 Ab Intervals, I was warmed up and my pre-workout was really kicking in. I found it easier to stay in the plank positions, and I did very well throughout the entire workout.
Overall I would say that I had one ‘Barely Made It’ and one ‘Nailed It’ today. I am pleased with these results considering how sick I was about 24 hours ago. Thank you for reading my day 19 Focus T25 Review. Monday I will be back home and back to my normal schedule and it will be day 22 of Focus T25, Cardio. Be sure to check back in to see how it went.
Focus T25 Day 18 Workout Review
Focus T25 Review – Cardio
Focus T25 Cardio
Focus T25 Cardio is super difficult when you’re sick! I feel awful today. I do not know if it is a change in the air out here or if my body is just not adjusting well to working nights, but I feel disgusting. My throat hurts, my head feels like it is going to explode, and I get dizzy any time that I turn my head to fast, and by to fast I mean at a normal rate. However, I did not let this stop me from doing my workout! This is the first time that I have been sick since I started exercising regularly and drinking Shakeology. I used to get sick about once every two months. I had forgotten what it is like to feel like crap…
I am starting to get good at Focus T25 Cardio. If I can do as well as I did today while feeling as sick as I do and while in a hotel room, I should do amazing while feeling well and in the comfort of my home gym. Now, today was certainly not a ‘Nailed It’ in a traditional form, but all things considered, I think it could be looked at as one. I was about half and half with the regular and the modified versions of the exercises. I feel pretty good about my effort and dedication in this workout.
My nutrition has been awful this week. I have been eating whatever is catered in to the hospital that I am working out of this week. It has been stuff like BBQ and Pizza and pastas. Though I may like to eat these foods, they are not helping me reach my goals. I am really looking forward to getting back home and getting my sleep and nutrition back on track.
Thank you for reading my day 18 Focus T25 Workout Review. Tomorrow I will be doing both Focus T25 Total Body Circuit & Ab Intervals. I will not have the energy to complete a workout after my shift, so I will be doing both of them before I go into work tomorrow. Be sure to check back in to see how it went.
Focus T25 Day 17 Review
Focus T25 Review – Lower Focus
Focus T25 Lower Focus
Today is day 17 of my Focus T25 workout review. I completed Focus T25 Lower Focus in my hotel room. I have to say that I think that I am actually starting to like T25 Lower Focus. My legs are getting stronger and as I lose weight, the strength in my legs seem to be much more effective. I am really starting to do very well on the squatting and lunging portions or the workout. I am even starting to do well with the dead lift to flat back exercise. I have decent balance for a big guy, but I still have some difficulty standing on one leg while moving around. I love doing the calf raises and then moving into a one legged hop. I love my calves and anytime I get a chance to focus on them, I am excited.
I am feeling even worse today than I did yesterday. I am not sure what the cause is, but for some reason, I have an awful headache and my throat is sore and I am getting random patches of dizziness. I did not let it keep me from doing my workout, I even feel like I had an excellent workout. I will chalk this one up as a ‘Nailed It’. So far working out in a hotel has not been a problem. Focus T25 can easily be done while in the confined space that a typical hotel room offers.
Thank you for reading my day 17 Focus T25 workout review. Tomorrow will be day 18, Focus T25 Cardio. Be sure to check back in to see how things went.
Day 16 Focus T25 Review
Focus T25 Review – Speed 1.0
Focus T25 Speed 1.0
Today is day 16 of my Focus T25 workout review. I completed Focus T25 Speed 1.0 in my hotel room today. I did not have any issues with space limitations today. Speed 1.0 does not have many exercises that require a lot of space. If you have read any of my other Focus T25 Speed 1.0 reviews, you know that it is one of my favorite Focus T25 workouts. I really feel like Shaun T does a good job keeping you from feeling like your heart is going to explode in this workout. Yes, you will be doing a lot of fast paced and explosive exercises, but they will be followed by some stretch style exercises that will feel like a break.
I am short on time today and I expect to be the rest of the week. I am still out of town and working out in the hotel. I am working 12 hour nightshifts at a hotel the entire time that I am here. I also feel like I am getting sick. My throat is getting scratchy and my nose is a little runny. Because of this, I am trying to sleep any chance that I get. So I will not be doing long posts this week.
Thank you for reading my day 16 Focus T25 workout review. I apologize that it is so short and lacking any good details. Be sure to check back in tomorrow to see how day 17, Focus T25 Lower Focus went.
